Bio

Gentle Beast – fuzzy, powerful desert rock riffs paired with spacey melodies. As the name suggests, a love child between mystical gentleness and wild beast. Inspired by genre masters like Kyuss, Fu Manchu and Orange Goblin, the five-piece from Basel, Switzerland, has dedicated itself to low-tuned guitars, raw vocals and heavy psychedelic sounds.

 

The band's core has always been frontman Timo Dinter's dusty voice and the distorted guitar walls of Manuel 'Cioffi' Ciofalo and Janek Huschke. Tobias Rickli on bass and Chris Wild on the drums have most recently completed the band. To date, the Swiss earth rockers have played over 70 live shows, supporting renowned bands such as Greenleaf, The Great Machine or Monkey3.
